Q How much does air conditioning cost to run ?

A A typical home system, about £0.08 per hour.


Q Can air conditioning really help with my Heyfever ?

A Some of our systems can filer out particles down to 0.0001 micron which will remove every known type of pollutant including pollen.


Q What is a heat pump ?

A A heat pump is an air conditioning system that can run in reverse. I.E. Warm a room as well as cool a room.


Q How long does an air conditioning system take to install ?

A Usually one day for a wall mounted system and a maximum of two days for a cassette type system.


Q Why is the VAT only 5% on a residential air conditioning system ?

A Because the government is committed to reducing carbon emissions and heat pump air conditioning is an energy efficient form of heating. The government are positively encouraging you to get heat pump air conditioning installed in your home! Some of our systems have a COP of 4.51.


Q COP of 4.51, what does that mean ?

A Coefficient of Performance means for every 1kw of electricity used you get 4.51kw of heating energy. Compare this to electric under-floor heating for example, where to get 1kw of heating you consume 1kw of electricity.


Q Can I get Legionnaires disease ?

A No, not from a domestic air conditioning system. Legionella is found in the cooling towers of large industrial plant.
